Assumption Details:
-
During the first
year the project should handle about 4000 litres per day of milk on an
average, which will increase to about 10,000 in the fifth year. The
investment in processing unit and in the Gramin dairy is of essential
nature without which it is not possible to carry out milk processing
successfully.

The requirements of
milk canes for procurement is estimated on the basis of 4 canes for
each DCS. 50 canes of 40 litres capacity to be provided in the first
year and 25 in the third year for processing.

A provision of milk
pouch crates for the purpose of milk sale is made in the first three
years of operation.

A provision of 14.75
lakhs is made for civil work construction and equipment for in
frastructure development.

Audiovisual kit with
accessories would be purchased for extension work.

A.I equipment and
liquid nitrogen container to be provided for carrying out A.I
activity at the A.I centers .

A provision for Rs.
1.50 lakh has been made for computer purchase which is to be used at
the project level.

For increasing the
duration of milk availability provision for refrigerated booth has
been made.
