As
per the minutes of the Steering Committee Meeting on the RSVY held on
11.9.02 under the Chairmanship of the Chief Secretary, Govt. of
Jharkhand, the following yearly outlay was sanctioned for Lohardaga
district (for a period of 3 years in total):

The
project suggested herein is based on the aforesaid decision of the
Steering Committee.
In
sync with the prescribed guideline of proactive involvement of NGOs, the
district NGOs have been involved in the deliberations and formulation of
this project report. The suggested project involves the participation of
NGOs in the formulation, selection, planning, implementation and
monitoring of the schemes. The work focus and core competencies of the
NGOs active in the district can be seen as under:

During
the detailed discussions and deliberations held during the visit of Shri.
P.S.S. Thomas (Principal Adviser, RSVY, Lohardaga District), it was
decided to include certain other identified areas of intervention and
support and these have been included in the Addendum. These areas are:
